The current Labor Code distinguishes three typesproduction periods: normal working hours, shortened and incomplete. Let's consider each of these categories in more detail. A distinctive feature of the latter is that it is established through agreement between the employer and the employee. The first species is the most stable. For single-shift enterprises it is usually a standard eight-hour day with a break for lunch and intervals for employee rest, if necessary. The reduced duration of working hours is often encountered in the form of a reduction in the period of work on pre-holiday days (at the discretion of the administration).
