Ties for cargo representspecialized devices used on railway, car platforms, on the decks of water transport for securing cargo of various types. They provide reliable fixation by pressing to the platform, preventing displacement when driving on poor-quality road surface, slopes and sharp turns. In addition, they prevent the scattering of goods of a modular type, such as logs, blocks or boxes. Varieties
Ties for cargo automotive function and execution are divided into two types:
- the components have two belts of different lengths, one connected to the ratchet, the other has a free end and a hook;
- The ring ties for the load are connected by a ratchet and look like a looped belt.
The most widespread acquired the first option due to the possibility of using with platforms of any kind and fixing loose cargo.
Design
Ring couplers for cargo consist of onebelt connected to one side with a ratchet mechanism, with no fasteners and hooks. Both straps of the composite version are connected to a ratchet and have fasteners in the form of a carabiner or hook at the other end. Ratchet is a simple version of the ratchet mechanism, equipped with a lever drive, with the help of it can be fixed and the choice of belt length. At the base lies a metal frame on which a short belt is fixed and a drum with a hole intended for the free part of the long belt. On both sides of the drum there are gears, to which the handle is pressed. The locking mechanism turning is performed using the valve. It is also used to loosen the system, in order to easily pull out the belt, it is enough to pull the latch and raise the lever.
Materials
For the manufacture of screeds used polymersynthetic fibers, for example, nylon, nylon and polyester. Materials are resistant to the effects of exhaust gas, alkali, gasoline, lubricants, dirt and moisture, can withstand heavy loads and have high strength. The quality of polymer belts is unchanged over a wide temperature range, so they can be used in any latitude.

Replacement of elements should be made at the appearance of the slightest damage. In this case, it is not always necessary to acquire the entire structure; it may be sufficient to install a new mechanism or belt. Ties for cargo should not have mechanical damage and tears, it is necessary for high-quality fastening of objects and ensure the safety of both the driver and other road users.
