Airport Blagoveshchensk is one of the largesttransport nodes of the East Siberian region. Thanks to its functioning, regular flights between the Siberian and Far Eastern districts are provided.
General information
Blagoveshchensk Airport also has a different name - Ignatievo, because it is located 15 km from the settlement of the same name in the Amur Region.
The construction of the complex was completed in 1997, and a year later regular maintenance of IL-62 aircraft was established. For a long time only this type of aircraft was served.
In 2002 the route network increased, and in 2003 the reorganization was carried out. The annual passenger traffic was no more than 120,000 people. The enterprise begins to develop actively during this period.
The new terminal building wasoperation already in 2010, which significantly influenced the increase in capacity. By 2011, the lighting equipment of the runway was replaced and a fuel filling terminal was built.
To date, the airport complexis designed to serve 300 passengers per hour. The runway is made of asphalt concrete, its dimensions are 2800 × 45 m. There are parking lots for 44 airplanes on the territory of the airfield. The airfield complex can receive aircraft of almost all major Soviet types, as well as Airbus 319-321, Boeing 737, 767, 757, Cessna, DHC, Sukhoi, Bombardier.

Blagoveshchensk Airport: directions
For a trip to the airport you can use a taxi or a private car. Near the terminal there is parking for 200 cars. The parking lot is free of charge.
You can take buses:
- № 8 - from the center of Blagoveshchensk - the stop «Department store», the total travel time is about 50 minutes, the ticket price is 17 rubles;
- № 10 - also from the "Department store", travel time - about half an hour, ticket price - 19 rubles.
Children of preschool age are transported for free.
Airport Blagoveshchensk is one of the few transport hubs in the region. The development of the airport is regularly allocated from the state budget.
