According to global recovery plansIn the region, at the end of 2018, it is planned to build and open a tunnel that will run along the bottom of the Kerch Strait. Such a transition will consist of two independent, but interconnected emergency gateways tunnels. For each, a two-lane highway of 14.7 km will be laid. Then the distance between the cities of Anapa-Yalta will be covered by the bus in 3-4 hours without transferring passengers to ferries or catamarans. And up to this point it is necessary to use the combined modes of transport.
Details of the Anapa – Yalta route
More than 10 scheduled flights carried outdaily and at night from the bus stations of the city in the direction of the Crimea. After arriving at one of the Anapa train stations, tourists take a bus to the port of Kavkaz. From here, the ferry crosses the strait and then again takes the bus to the selected city on the peninsula. For such a trip, you can purchase both a single ticket, paying for all types of transport at once, and a regular travel pass.
From the airport to the crossing, tourists get by taxi or by a suitable flight, then - by ferry to Kerch. Further, by choice: public transport or taxi.
Is not it easier to swim only on water?
Two high-speed catamarans last yearcarried out daily flights of Anapa-Yalta through Feodosia. On one ship can comfortably accommodate 300 passengers. Everyone is allowed to carry up to 36 kg of cargo. For children under 1 year of age the fare is free. In the new season, it became possible to order tickets for this transport via the Internet. However, catamarans now make flights only to Feodosia. Modern high-speed vessels are equipped with air conditioning, televisions, comfortable seats. You can walk on the deck while sailing. Further, the Anapa-Yalta route by sea has so far been canceled due to insufficient payback. To the final destination from Feodosia, vacationers travel by car for 2.5–3 hours. With an increase in passenger traffic in this direction, the route can be started again.
