The scientific and technological revolution allowedhumankind to relieve muscles, however, pulled the nerves and increased the gap with nature. The increasing number of people on the planet and the growth of consumption are increasingly using natural opportunities and are loading the resource base of the planet. And in the vanguard of priorities are recreational and agro-climatic resources. These are the basic components that will allow to satisfy the needs of people and not to tear them away from nature. The preservation of nature and care about it in this vein are becoming increasingly important.
Agroclimatic and recreational resources
Since the dawn of human civilization, wewe use in our activities all the opportunities that have been formed on our planet over billions of years. The development of science and technology has led to a global depletion of reserves of exhaustible natural resources, and agroclimatic resources are no exception. This is an ecocide of nature by a man who led to the appearance of man-made earthquakes and huge tsunamis, the loss of millions of square kilometers of fertile soils and unique biogeocenoses. Mankind turned out for nature not as a child, caring for its parent, but as a destroyer and even a pest. All the variety of the planet's recreational resources is under threat, and the need to ensure food needs makes us increasingly careful to the available agro-climatic resources.
Nature for us
Speaking of recreational resources, we meanall that can be used to meet the human need for rest, both active and passive. This group includes natural components (landscape, water, flora and fauna), cultural and historical sights and related infrastructure. Man is a child of nature, and in the face of increasing emotional and social pressure on citizens, we are increasingly drawn to touching the sources - the untouched islands of nature. The theme of the development of the tourism industry and its environmental friendliness is extensive and multifaceted. But its problems are inseparable from the general problems of the ecological state of the planet.
World agroclimatic resources
Today, the problem of providing food to the populationthe planet is no less acute than a century ago. The provision of needs in this case is entrusted to the structure of the agro-industrial complex, which has long been the basis of the world economy. Agro-industrial resources are a whole range of indicators that affect the productivity of agrarian agriculture and provide the capacity and potential of rural production. The duration of the light period, the average daily temperature and humidity - these are the main components of the agroclimatic resource of the planet.
Separate environmental science - agroclimatology- engaged in the assessment of climatic features and the potential for their use, the study of agricultural land as a single biogeocenosis, monitoring and development of ways to reduce adverse factors, agroclimatic zoning and developing solutions to the problem of agroclimatic resources.
The main wealth of the farmer
Optimum amount of sunshine, warmClimate regime and an acceptable level of humidity are the most important indicators of successful agriculture. We will try to concretize the concept of "agroclimatic resources". Component definitions may be as follows:
- The average daily rate of the vegetative period.For all crops, there is a biological zero (minimum and maximum temperatures). For each zone of ecological zoning, methodologies have been developed that assess the potential effectiveness of growing a particular crop.
- Vegetative period and biomass accumulationprovide photosynthesis processes. Its light and dark periods play a vital role for plants. Photoperiodism is the length of daylight for a given zone of ecological zoning.
- Formation of 1 gram of dry matter by plants is ensured by a cost of up to 1 thousand grams of water. Humidity indicators are an important component of the agroclimatic terrain resource.
- Snow cover, its quantity and quality, is important as a factor of moisture reserves and ensuring that the non-vegetative period is experienced by perennial crops.
These are the main, though not the only indicators characterizing agroclimatic resources.
It is important
All resources on the planet are unevenly distributed.And agroclimatic here is no exception. The zone assessment includes about 70 indicators that are unique to the area. Although this complex of resources is attributed to renewable natural resources, their quality and quantity are influenced by both natural factors (global warming on the planet) and man-made (pollution, merciless use). Man-made disasters generally take out of their turn entire areas along with their agricultural resources.
The tasks of mankind
Since the 90s of the last century the worldThe public has adopted the concept of sustainable development, which implies combining the economic and environmental approaches to the use of the resource base of the planet and its component such as agroclimatic resources. This is the only true way to ensure the safety of the planet for future generations. The concept of sustainable development includes many points; in the context of our topic, we highlight the following priorities:
- ensuring by rational use of the stability of natural resources;
- developing green agriculture and increasing its productivity;
- development of technologies that reduce the load on the planet’s climate;
- optimization of energy saving technologies and alternative energy sources.
