Palace of Culture "Vyborg" is one ofmain cultural centers of the northern capital of Russia. Practically from its very foundation (in 1927) significant cultural events were held in its halls: performances, film sessions and various lectures. The scene of the palace served and serves as a platform for the creativity of both domestic and foreign stars of the theater. The layout of the Dyb Vyborgsky (large) hall shows that it can accommodate up to 1,870 people.
History
Construction of the House of Culture "Vyborg" wascompleted in 1927, to the 10th anniversary of the Great October Revolution. It became a real cultural and educational center for the workers of Leningrad at that time.
In addition to professional theater art,Amateur creative associations were represented in the palace. Amateur art was at a high enough level. It should also be mentioned that the first amateur photo club in Leningrad was founded in the Vyborgsky cultural center, which became famous throughout the USSR.

Address building DC "Vyborg":St. Petersburg, Komissara Smirnova Street, 15. It is located not far from the city center, in the Vyborgsky district, from which it got its name. Not far from DK is the embankment of the Neva River. Near two metro stations: "Lenin Square" and "Vyborg".

In the Palace of Culture "Vyborg" there are two halls- big theater and small (concert). The large hall, as already mentioned, can accommodate up to 1870 spectators.
