Philosophy and world outlook: general and special

The question in the title of the article, only onfirst glance seems pretty simple and straightforward. Philosophy and worldview act as phenomena inherent only in the human consciousness and acting criterion parameters for the evaluation of each person - this is an immutable and objective fact, showing the organic connection and unity of these substances.

Однако, при внимательном анализе этих феноменов, one can find quite a lot of interesting problems, answer the question of how philosophy and worldview correlate; it is not always easy, because very significant differences are found between them that are generated exactly at the moment of “contact” of worldview and philosophy as categories.

The most common point isthat a worldview is a more capacious concept in relation to philosophy, and a philosophical worldview is only one of the forms of a worldview, along with religious, mythological, scientific, ufological, etc.

В этом контексте, мировоззрение представляется as one of the objectively necessary characteristics of a person, the purpose of which is the formation of personality. At the same time, a person may not even be aware of the fact and content of his worldview, although if we speak of an individual, this is hardly possible. It is here that we discover the first dissimilarity, philosophy and worldview can be present simultaneously only at the level of the personal development of the individual and in no other way. At the same time, it’s not a fact that this person, possessing a certain worldview, will be the carrier of the philosophical worldview, it can be the owner of both religious and any other.

From the point of view of scientific analysis, the subjectPhilosophy, philosophy and world view, as a rule, are not divorced far from each other. The worldview is presented as a characteristic of a person, representing a combination of ideas about things, about their place in the world and this world itself. But philosophy also provides such an opportunity, but only and exclusively from the positions that are formed on philosophical foundations, it is inappropriate to speak here, for example, of a religious worldview.

Philosophy and ideology, of course, phenomena that are separated in time among themselves, since it is recognized that, for example, mythological consciousness preceded the philosophical one.

In the modern world, there is a definite trend towards the dynamics of this ratio.

First, the world is becoming increasingly mosaic, and it is quite difficult to establish this pattern.

Secondly, today it is almost impossible tofor any person to single out a “pure” type of worldview, as a rule, our modern worldview is integrative and synthetic, and it’s not a fact that the religious component in it naturally appears before the scientific, or that the mythological component precedes the philosophical component.

Third, some experts recordthe emergence of some "spiritual neoplasms", which, by their distribution and role in society, may well qualify as types of worldview. First of all, here we are talking about the well-known “network” worldview, the appearance of which in time belongs to the beginning of the mass entry of people into the Internet, social networks and the virtual world in general. And therefore, recognizing science as a priori philosophy, how to answer the question about its role in such a virtualized world of images.

Value philosophy and worldview canconsider and through the prism of their implementation in practice. Any worldview is an exclusively subjective phenomenon, while, recognizing philosophy as a science, we recognize its objectivity. There is also a significant difference between these phenomena. A philosophical attitude to the world is a theoretical, high relationship, in some cases simply rhetorical (a common expression: “treat everything philosophically”), an ideological position is always subjective and affects. As a rule, the burning problems and intimate aspects of being of each individual person.

Another aspect of the ratio is theirmutual technology, so to speak. In some cases, philosophy acts as a means of expressing a world view, and in others, philosophy already serves as a tool for expressing a world view.

In a word, in the analysis of the categories of philosophy and worldview, quite substantial irreducibility are found, which ultimately reflect a particular content of these phenomena.
