Microsoft in the eighth version of itsWindows operating system decided to remove the system performance assessment tool and a table that displays the points received by individual components of a personal computer. In Windows 10, this index is also missing. However, the functionality itself has not disappeared anywhere. Moreover, the rating scale became more logical, changing its maximum value from eight to ten points. And despite the fact that the corresponding item is missing in the system properties, performance evaluation can be recognized both by the standard OS tools and by using third-party applications.

The release of the new operating system from Microsoftmany waited because in addition to visual changes, a significant part of the code was reworked, which, according to Redmond’s reassurances, led to an increase in the speed of operation and responsiveness of the system.
