What you need to pass the inspection

Since 2012, new rules for passing vehicle inspection have been in place. The purpose of the event itself remains the same: to prevent the operation

cars whose use is potentiallydangerous for the driver himself, and for others. Therefore, the essence of the inspection still comes down to checking the technical condition, troubleshooting the machine. From this it follows logically that it is necessary to begin with the preparation of a car for it to pass inspection. What you need to pay attention to?

First make sure you have a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, emergency stop sign. The capacity of the fire extinguisher is recommended not less than 2 liters. It is recommended - to oblige you can not,

but do not try to save on this basisfire extinguisher (it is not in your interest - with a smaller fire extinguisher in the event of a fire, you simply cannot save your property). Fire extinguisher and first aid kit should not be expired. Please note that it is necessary to have an emergency sign of a new sample - two-color (external circuit - red, internal - orange) for passing inspection.

If your driving experience is less than 2 years old, there should be a “novice driver” sign on the rear window; if you are “on thorns” - also the corresponding sign, the letter “Ш” in the triangle.

Now you can pay attention to the actual car. What you need to pass inspection?

- the performance of all lighting fixtures, handbrake, horn, wipers and windshield washers;

- tires (tread height of at least 1.6 mm, cuts and tears should not be);

- the absence of leakage of oil, fuel, coolant (if stains remain after parking under the car, this is an alarm signal);

- integrity of brake hoses, cylinders, tubes;

- serviceability of the brakes.

If the windshield of your car has a crack, make sure that it is located outside the working area of ​​the “janitor” on the driver’s side; otherwise you will not pass inspection.

Documents for inspection must provide the following:

- vehicle passport;

- power of attorney, if you are not the owner;

- passport (citizen);

- paid receipts.

The power of attorney must be accompanied by passing inspection, as the scope of the delegation of authority ("I trust to pass inspection and to perform all related actions").

Many people think that it is necessary to have a medical certificate and a CTP insurance policy on hand. This is not true.

What has changed with the introduction of the new rules?Now you can, at your choice, pass either the TRP - a state technical inspection at a technical inspection station under the auspices of the traffic police; or technical inspection at any privately held site with the appropriate registration. If you purchased your car from an authorized dealer, almost certainly your dealer has such a registration - inspection in this case will cost you less.
