Football club "Seville" was founded with the participation ofthe governor. It was formed in 1905, although the first match was only held in 1908. A year later, a leadership conflict arose. And the result was as follows - an independent club separated itself from the team, which was called “Betis”. And after a while, he became the historical and avid enemy of Seville.
But the club was a clear success.Starting in 1916/17, he won the Andalusia Cup, and in 1929 won the Segunda at all. The team tried hard to get into the big leagues. The club was very close to Example for several years in a row. But they managed to get into the Spanish elite only in 1933/34. In "Betis" it also happened. And two years later, both one and the second team won solid titles. The Sevilla football club won the Spanish Cup, and Betis became the national champion.
Further developments
When was the civil war, the championship,Naturally, they did not. However, when the games resumed, the Sevilla football club literally immediately became the leader of Spanish football. He managed to take his second cup. And after some time, in 1939/40, the team became the vice-champion of the country. But this succession is not over. In the first post-war tournament the club became the champion of the country. And all thanks to Ramon Ensinas, the coach of those times. It is thanks to him that Sevilla has achieved such success. The football club, which was then quite powerful, then took another country cup (1947/48).
The next success was in 1950/51 - then the team lost to FC “Atletico” in the fight for the title of champions of Spain. She took second place.
But in 1968, the club flew into the second league.However, not for long - thanks to enhanced training, players quickly regained a place in the elite. But soon they fled back. It was a tough time. Only 4 years later, in 1970, they started playing in Example again. Such “jumps” were due to strong competition. Even after returning to the elite, the team failed to break above the middle of the standings.
Recent times
In 2003/04, the team managed to brace up andreach the semi-final match of the country cup. It was their long and hard road to Euro Cups. Then the club led Juande Ramos. And thanks to his efforts, Sevilla won the UEFA Cup, beating with a crushing score, at 4: 0, Middlesbrough FC. This was the beginning of the “white line”. There was a victory in the UEFA Super Cup (a crushing game with Barcelona - 3-0), in the Spanish Cup, “bronze” in Example and again the UEFA Cup. Then they won the Spanish Super Cup.
Then Ramos left, and Manolo took his place.Jimenez. But after the tragedy, when the field lost consciousness and 22-year-old Antonio Puerta, a key player in the squad, went into the world, a decline began. It ended only in the 2013/14 season - then Sevilla won the Europa League. And most recently, in 2014/15, the team won the UEFA Cup. Last year, by the way, Dmitry Cheryshev became one of the coaches of Sevilla.
Achievements
Sevilla is a football club with a rich history andrich way to success. For all its existence, the team has become the champion of Andalusia 17 times. Once the club won the championship of Spain, four times - took the “silver”. The Spanish Cup was won five times. “Silver” Spaniards managed to take twice. In the Eva Duarte Cup, they also ranked second - once, in 1948. Super Bowl countries won once and once took the “silver”. Four times became the winners of the second division and returned to the elite. And, finally, four times, “Seville” won in the Europa League, once - the UEFA Super Cup and three times - second place in this championship. And in 2008, the club won the Russian Railways Cup.
