Nikolay Kruglov (junior) is a famous athlete, biathlete, participant of two Olympiads and just a titled athlete. The son of the Soviet biathlete Nikolai Kruglov.
Biography
Nikolay Nikolaevich Kruglov was born in Nizhny Novgorod in April 1981. He comes from a sports dynasty. His father is a titled Soviet biathlete.
Sport in the life of Nicholas has always been.From the age of two he was standing on skis. All childhood was engaged in the section of tennis, but these activities did not bring the boy pleasure, he often skipped, and then completely abandoned the sport.
But the ski race attracted him to hisunpredictability and speeds. From the seventh grade Nikolay Kruglov was engaged in a children's sports school in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. Since good results immediately began to appear, a year later the boy was identified in the school of the Olympic reserve. His coach was Yuri Kuzmin.
In the eleventh grade, Kruglov won his first title, becoming the champion of Russia among youths (in cross-country skiing). It was then that he clearly decided for himself that he wanted to play sports professionally.
From 1999 to 2010, Nikolay Kruglov performed inbiathlon First for the youth team of Russia, then for the main one. After the end of his sports career for some time he worked in the press service of the airline "UTair". Then in 2014, he headed the corporate communications department at the same company.
Nikolai Kruglov, whose biography is unthinkable without sports, managed to work as deputy minister of sports and youth policy in the Nizhny Novgorod region, but he soon realized that politics is not his.
Now, in addition to his main employment, he is a biathlon expert and commentator on some sports channels.
Sports career
In 1999, Nikolai Kruglov moved from skiracing in biathlon and moved to Khanty-Mansiysk to train. The first season brings him good luck. He wins two gold at the European Junior Championships and two silver medals at the World Championships.
Since 2002, Nikolai is in the main teammen's national biathlon team. His career goes very well. In 2005 in Austria he became the second in the classic relay. In the same year, he won gold in the World Championship in a mixed relay.
