Human psychic phenomena form a rich inner world in which four large groups can be distinguished. Consider them in more detail.
First, mental processes are special acts.internal activities that have an object of reflection, have a regulatory and cognitive function. The fact is that they contribute to the formation of images in the human consciousness. These mental phenomena can be divided into three large groups:
- cognitive (attention, imagination, memory, sensation, thinking, perception),
- emotional,
- strong-willed.
Thanks to their functioning, the human psyche is formed. This is a kind of combination and unity of these processes.
Secondly, mental states.They are a temporary peculiarity of internal activity, which is determined by the special content, as well as the attitude of the individual towards him. Such mental phenomena are a relatively stable integration of all human manifestations that occur under the condition of its interaction with reality. They can be quite persistent or the same quickly passing phenomena. These mental phenomena reflect the functional level of internal activity, depending on what are the conditions of the subject and his personal characteristics.
As practice shows, the state can be situational, short-term and fairly stable. They can be divided into four large groups:
- motivational (passions, cravings, interests, aspirations and desires);
- emotional (mood, affect, stress and frustration);
- volitional (dedication, initiative, perseverance, determination, and so on);
- intellectual (attention, perception, thinking, memory, imagination).
Moreover, the states reflect the attitude towards the phenomena of reality (positive, negative, neutral, etc.).
Thirdly, mental properties. They are fairly stable internal formations that are formed in the process of human activity and communication.
Consider these mental phenomena in more detail.
Темперамент и характер являются самыми стойкими properties. They are very actively manifested in the behavior and life of a person. An individual is born with a certain type of temperament (choleric, melancholic, sanguine and phlegmatic), whose properties significantly influence the formation of his character. Under the influence of education and other conditions, some of its features are sharpened, becoming sustainable. As a result, they say that "such a person has a character."
Mental properties are also the makings andabilities. The second group of phenomena is formed in the process of activity. Thus, a child is born with certain inclinations (mathematical, artistic, sports, music, etc.), which can later develop in the presence of favorable conditions, becoming abilities, or “fading away”. Therefore, parents need to ensure their formation by writing down the younger person in various circles and sections.
Fourth, mental education.They are the result of the constant work of the psyche and consciousness of man, his development and self-improvement. This group includes the following: life-acquired skills, knowledge and skills, as well as beliefs, attitudes, attitudes, habits.
Consequently, the existing forms of manifestations of the psycheinterdependent and interrelated. In the process of development and personality formation, changes will also occur in its structure and content. Moreover, scientists have proven that these aspects are quite stable.
