Socionics is a branch of psychology, according to which all people can be divided into sixteen types. Each type has its own unique combination of qualities:
- Logic or ethic;
- intuit or sensory;
- rational or irrational;
- extrovert or introvert.
Кто такой экстраверт, лишний раз объяснять не need to. These people are always happy to meet new people, cannot live without communication, they need human society as much as air. However, let's move away from the generally accepted definitions for a few minutes and try to find out who such an extrovert is from the point of view of socionics, as well as how this trait manifests itself in various socionic types.
In total there are 8 types of extroverts: “Jack London”, “Stirlitz”, “Hugo”, “Hamlet”, “Zhukov”, “Napoleon”, “Huxley” and “Don Quixote”.
Jack London (logical-intuitive extrovert)
Representatives of this type can rarely sit onplace, they are constantly thirsting for new experiences - not only in terms of communication, but also in terms of work. Any case in the hands of Jack literally "boils." Often, Jack is fearless. In combination with innate romanticism, this provides him with a penchant for mountaineering, hiking and extreme rest. Jack is not very well versed in people, often cautious, for fear of appearing ridiculous.
Stirlitz (logical-sensory)
Stirlitz acts quickly, his actions are alwayshave a rationale. Initiative, often quite assertive. He prefers not to talk about the good, focusing more on the negative. As a rule, Stirlitz considers the ability to obey the rules of dignity. It possesses "restrained strength" inherent in the military.
Hugo (ethical-sensory extrovert)
As a rule, representatives of this type tendrelive vivid emotions, an idea can capture them once and for a lifetime. They are simply tireless, real “Duracell bunnies” who are constantly torn from side to side. They love to receive guests. Hugo - attentive listeners and pleasant interlocutors, can always support. A little conservative, like order.
Hamlet (ethical-intuitive)
Hamlet focuses on global issues.(“To be or not to be?”), Is inclined to see the world in dramatic colors. By nature, he is a romantic, often doubts and weighs all the pros and cons ten times before making a decision. Hamlet is attentive to people (sometimes even annoying), always ready to lend a helping hand.
Zhukov (sensory-logical extrovert)
Who is an extrovert under the mask of Zhukov?This is a man of decisive character, sometimes even hard. Good tactician. Does not give up in front of the difficulties encountered, focuses on the final result. Zhukov does not like to talk about feelings, and negative emotions in general tend to suppress as quickly as possible.
Napoleon (sensory ethical)
Really proud of his talentto influence people, to win their respect and love. Always active, eager to practice - a boring theory is not for him. Often disappointed in people. He treats criticism calmly, but he hates when they start demanding something from him - Napoleon can be sent, but not suppressed.
Huxley (intuitive ethical)
Huxley are addicted to their mood, loveimprovise (and they do it!). They seek to gain emotional power over all, but at the same time remain independent. Not prone to ambition, but very susceptible to the assessment of their mental abilities, trying to show their intellectual potential in every way. In communication, most often friendly and welcoming.
Don Quixote (intuitive-logical)
The last socionic type of which we arelet's talk in the framework of the topic “Who is an extrovert” - Don Quixote. He always sees prospects and opportunities well, but is often dissatisfied with what has already been achieved. Constantly in need of emotional "recharging" from the side. A good leader, able to direct others in the right direction.
