"Nevskaya Town Hall" - an object forming a new "business" face of St. Petersburg

The second largest city of Russia -St. Petersburg needs business districts, that is, those places where business circles, public organizations, and administrative bodies should be concentrated with maximum convenience for work - everything that, being within walking distance, should contribute to successful business and development the country's economy.

New business district

To the already existing large network of business centers“Senator”, the objects of which are located in all administrative units of the city, and many other business districts of St. Petersburg, will soon be added to the whole business quarter “Neva Town Hall”, which is located in the historical center of the Northern capital.

But the most important thing is that in the new business district, located on an area of ​​6.1 hectares, 7 class A business centers and the building of the city administration will be located. One of the most important advantages of this project is its location: between Degtyarny lane and Novgorodskaya and Moiseenko streets.

Center is always an advantage.

Unlike transferred from the city centerOkhta Center, Neva Town Hall, located in the heart of the metropolis, is surrounded by three central stations of the city’s metro, the nearest one is Chernyshevskaya (15 minutes walk). In the immediate vicinity of the business district there are two railway stations - Finland, from which the Allegro Express departs to Helsinki, and Moscow, where the Sapsan arrives.

Placed in the most convenient place for business“Neva Town Hall” was conceived as a large-scale business district, providing on its territory all the necessary infrastructure for work and residence. In addition to buildings for business meetings, even projects such as the Interactive Science Museum for Children were considered. The terms are 2007 (beginning) and 2018 (completion of works).

Matching the face of the city

Total erected area will be 366 431square meters. Organizations and companies will be located in buildings, the appearance of which is required to gracefully fit into the surrounding picture. The authors of the project took into account the moment that where the Neva Town Hall is located, where the center of St. Petersburg is located, whose architecture is known to the whole world, nothing should disturb the historical face of the city that has developed over the centuries. Therefore, the architecture of the administrative and business quarter, which forms the new look of the northern capital as a major financial, economic and cultural center, is made in the style of modern classics, which has an exquisite décor (colonnades and pilasters) and distinctive characteristic lines.

Decorative facade plastering from TravertinoRomano, giving the walls an ancient stone look at the expense of marble granules, makes the business district aristocratic, somewhat reminiscent of Italy. And it fits well with the architecture of St. Petersburg, on the appearance of which many masters from this country worked. The square in front of the Main administrative building of this district was conceived as one of the new large squares of the city, along with Isaac’s and Palace’s. The neighborhood will be decorated with landscape decoration. Part of the city administration will move to new residences, so residents call the construction site Smolny-2.

Stages of construction

Construction of the "Nevsky town hall" is carried out inthree stages. The first one envisaged the construction of the second and third buildings of the business center, the Administration building, where officials of various relevant committees of St. Petersburg, the trade and service infrastructure, the public zone, the entrances from the Novgorodskaya and Moiseenko streets should move, that is, at the first stage all architectural dominant complex. The second stage envisaged the complete construction of Moiseenko Street and the final design of the passage from it to Degtyarny Lane.

The third stage formed everything into a single ensemble, inwhich includes 9 objects. Financing of construction is carried out by VTB, therefore the world crisis has slowed down the construction of the object slightly, and all the same the terms of their commissioning have been adjusted. In October 2013, the first two buildings in Degtyarny Lane, provided for by the first stage of construction, were put into operation. One of them is fully designed for VTB structures.

The crisis makes its own adjustments

Then, in October 2013, we started the secondstage of construction of facilities of the complex "Neva Town Hall", the construction of which on the site of the former tram park is gaining momentum. The infrastructure of the facility includes absolutely everything - a pharmacy and a hotel, a bank branch and ATMs, a cafe and restaurant, dry cleaning and a beauty salon, a fitness center, conference rooms and a shop.

BC "Neva Town Hall" has the most effective planning decisions - and this is not one of hisadvantage. But crises, as a rule, have an impact on expensive projects, such as the Neva Town Hall, in which class “A” facilities are provided. They fall in demand because of the high cost, albeit justified. And therefore, the expensive buildings of the second stage of construction will be completed as tenants appear, otherwise they become indestructible. The handover of the Administrative Corps is delayed, but it is planned to be commissioned in January 2015.
