Grand opening of the monument
Monument "Waiting" in Murmansk - is a nationwideproject. About 15 million rubles were raised for the manufacture and installation of the sculpture. Investors have become legal entities of the region and ordinary residents of Murmansk. In the fall of 2011, a new sketch competition was held, in which architects from Smolensk, Yu. Anushko and I. Chumakov, won.
