Section 1. The village and its history
A village 100 km from Novokuznetsk was built near the railway Novokuznetsk - Tashtagol. There is a station on the Haghpun - Uchulen line and a stop on the Uchulen – Kashtau branch.

Since 1973, began the movement of trains to Novokuznetsk.
It should be noted that the name of the village Temirtau translates as "iron mountain", it has Turkic roots - "temir" (iron) and "tau" (mountain).

The depth behind the protrusion increases significantly. If we move further to the left, then, as experienced travelers say, it increases; if it goes to the right, it decreases.
Only the most experienced divers dive to the center of the pit.

The descent into the reservoir is free, and the depth is available atdistance of 10-90 m from the shore. At the 12-meter depth there is a sunken GAZ truck, which is to some extent a landmark of this quarry. Those interested can explore it and take underwater photos.
