These terms could not be depicted in Greek letters, since in this language there are no letters to convey the following sounds: s, w, u, s, u, b, h, w. Fight and death
Slavic peoples in every way tried to banhave your own writing. But Cyril, a Slavic enlightener from Byzantium, led an implacable struggle against this injustice. He courageously performed services in the Church Slavonic language. At this time, in the West, the doctrine prevailed that the Latin peoples were chosen by God, and the Slavic nationality was barbarism. Cyril rejected all this.
The beginning of the year 869 brought Cyril (a Slavonic enlightener originally from Byzantium) a terrible disease, from which he died on February 14 of that year. The sage was gone at the age of 42 years.
