The personality of Adolf Hitler needs no introduction - the whole world knows about the indelible crime of the fascist leader. However, the natural question is: “Is there anything that reminds of him?”
Were there any monuments to Hitler in Germany?
Today, the monuments to the leader of the fasciststate in Germany and Austria does not exist. It is wrong to assume that they were all destroyed - they simply did not exist. Adolf Hitler was not concerned about personal glory - he was more worried about the glory of his nation, in whose name he did all his inhuman acts.
As for small sculptural forms, in itstime the busts of the fascist leader were decorated with German houses and government institutions. Now, of course, they are either disposed of, or hidden by certain connoisseurs from prying eyes. According to the old photos, it can be concluded that during the heyday of fascism, the Olympic imperial stadium was decorated with the head of the Nazi politician, made by the sculptor Torak - also to some extent a monument to Adolf Hitler.
Пивная в городе Мюнхене, где начался путч Гитлера and Ludendorff (known as the "beer putsch") in 1923 also lost a plaque announcing the event. According to tourists, even the guides, talking about this place, try not to focus attention on it.
Memorable places associated with Hitler
If a public monument to Hitler is impossibleto find, then the places about which you can say "Hitler was here" remained, and most of them are open to tourists. It should be noted that Austria and Germany actively oppose the fact that these locations become memorials to the world criminal.
So, we list these places:
- The Austrian city of Braunau on the Inn.Here is the house where Adolf Hitler was born. However, his family did not own the building - they only rented a room there. Today the building is owned by the heirs of the original owners, but is empty. Many know the statement of State Duma Deputy F. Kuntsevich, who wanted to raise 2.2 million euros to buy this house, in order to wipe it off the face of the earth afterwards. But a member of United Russia got excited - you cannot do this to the building, since it is an architectural monument of the 17th century. In front of the house is a memorial stone from the quarry of the concentration camp at Mauthausen "No to fascism. In memory of the dead."
- In the city of Passau there are two houses where the Hitler family lived. In one of them, in the 1930s, the Fuhrer Museum was organized - today only a guest book remains.
- Linz, Lambach, Hafeld, Steyr - preservedaccording to legend, the monastery where Hitler first saw the swastika, the house where he lived, his school (Fishkhalm) - there is a sign next to her saying that a person who died to millions of innocent victims studied there.
- Leonding - the graves of the father and mother of the Nazi leader. Tombstones were removed from them in order to prevent the pilgrimage of neo-Nazis, but the remains of the dead are not exhumed.

- Bavarian Alps, the residence of Hitler's "Eagle's Nest" ("Kelshtaynhaus") - the building was converted into a hotel. It was there that the Russian film was filmed about the atrocities of the Fuhrer "Moloch".
Are monuments to Hitler erected in modern times?
In 2010, a note flashed in the news thatactivists of the Ukrainian organization ENOT are going to erect the first monument to Hitler, the only environmentally conscious leader in Zaporizhia (as is well known, the Führer was in favor of a healthy lifestyle). Adherents of the community even managed to collect a certain amount to implement the idea, but this was the end of the matter.
In 2012, the news was relevant, that in Polandwas erected a monument to Hitler. Photos and more specific testimonies suggest that the penitential kneeling figure of the Fuhrer is only part of the exhibition of the Italian sculptor M. Katellan. According to the author, it can be seen through a hole in the wall - the statue with its back to the viewer.
News fakes
