He has successfully defended his thesis in chemistry, work in a prestigious university and experience as a mayor of the city. He professes atheism and is a member of the Masonic Lodge. He became the prime minister on December 6, 2011, and finally resigned on October 11, 2014.

The rally ended with the turning of cars, throwing stones at the police and igniting the flares. And on December 22, at the premiere, they threw potatoes with mayonnaise during his meeting with the residents of the city of Namur. However, this incident did not bother Charles, and he continued his speech. After that, the attackers were detained by the police. For this, Michel was threatened by means of anonymous letters, due to which additional security was assigned to him.
