At the same time, as mentioned above, depending on your race, the type of troops that will supply you with the Spirit of Darkness — the undead, demons, or orcs — will change.
In some situations, the loss of units becomesespecially noticeable, which greatly complicates the passage in Kings Bounty: Dark Side. "Monteville" is one of these locations, in which there are a lot of difficult fights, including battles with a squad near the main castle, as well as the defenders of the fortress themselves.
It is also encouraging that instead of the usual spirits of Rage and the dragon we have the opportunity to call on our friends who use different abilities for help.
New units
Many fans of the Kings Bounty series:Dark Side was also interested in the reason that a fairly large number of new units are represented here, and also the appearance of certain troops and animation of some abilities were updated. It is worth noting that, in the overwhelming majority, new units have a rather pleasant appearance, but their combat characteristics are not as effective as those of the old proven troops. Unlike other parts, in Kings Bounty:Dark Side quests have become more meaningful and less linear. Thus, in addition to the simple “attack and kill everyone”, we are invited to go a more difficult way, but allowing us to initially weaken the enemy, and then only attack or defeat at all without a fight. For this reason, for many, the main feature that makes Kings Bounty: Dark Side stand out is the quest passage. "The Princess in the Shell" and this game are completely different things. Such a deep elaboration of the line of quests will surely appeal to those who are interested in the tasks and plot as much as the gameplay itself.
Separately distinguished players who have already mastered in KingsBounty: Dark Side passage, "Monteville", or rather the quest, in which the seven sadistic dwarfs need to avenge Carmilla (this is the interpretation of the Snow White fairytale).
In order to free the Spirit of Darkness, weit will be necessary to entice the brightest people to the side of darkness. The happiest woman will have to be made unhappy, the most devoted person will betray, and the brightest will be transferred to the dark side, which is required for the manufacture of the so-called Weapon of Retribution with which we have to destroy the Spirit of Light. Among other things, we have togradually equip our castle, filling it with new buildings, where you can hire various units. Thus, we gradually meet in the locations of various NPCs and hire them for service. In gratitude, they erect various buildings in the shelter, in which it will be possible to purchase special artifacts or hire new units.
Immediately it is worth noting that one of the prioritiestasks is the construction of the Military Department, since the quality and number of units offered to us in the original shelter buildings will depend on the productivity of its work.
