History

Boris Shtokolov

After graduation, Shtokolov was a soloistSverdlovsk Philharmonic, then the Opera and Ballet Theater in the same place. In 1959 he was invited to Leningrad. There he became a soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, where he served until 1990. But since Boris Shtokolov was a world star of opera, he performed on the stages of four continents.
B. Shtokolov performed the roles of Boris Godunov, Ivan Susanin, Mephistopheles and many others. He was awarded a large number of awards, medals, orders, was awarded honorary titles.
