"Bat" - an operetta written by JohannStrauss in the 19th century. At the heart of her story are two works - the farce "Prison imprisonment" by Julius Benedics and the French vaudeville "New Year's Eve" by Louis Halevy and Henri Meillac. The "bat" does not descend from the scenes of the world musical theaters to this day.
History of creation and actors
"The Bat" - an operetta, a short summarywhich will be presented in this article, was written by Johann Strauss in 1874, commissioned by the director of the Vienna theater An Der Wien M. Steiner. He also offered the composer a libretto. I. Strauss came to like a witty, festive and funny story. The composer wrote an operetta in six weeks. In April 1874, the premiere of the performance took place. At first the operetta was not very popular, although it entered the repertory plans of all theaters in Vienna for many years.

The first act
