In each city there is one or, as a rule, several cinemas inviting viewers to appreciate the masterpieces of cinematographic art on the big screen. One of these is the cinema "Aurora". Krasnodar, a major city in Russia, is pleased to invite locals and all guests to visit a wonderful cinema, which has long been recognized by citizens.
Construction with historical significance
Cinema Aurora was built from 1963 to 1967.The project manager was a famous architect E. A. Serdyukov. The building is located at the intersection of Krasnaya and Ofitserskaya streets, its official address is Krasnaya Street, 169. It has taken root among the picturesque areas and has successfully entered into the modern look of the city. But few know what the history of the Aurora cinema has. Krasnodar, on whose streets it is located, is proud that the building has been awarded the title of a monument of architecture. Thus, “Aurora” is not just an entertainment center, but a structure with a special historical and cultural value.
Improving the cinema and its leading position
After May 13, 1967 cinema“Aurora” was put into operation, until the end of the millennium, residents had the opportunity to watch a wide variety of paintings, including tapes of the Soviet era. The merits and future of the cinema
There were their own reasons, which are more logical to call advantages. Among them:
- two halls (1200 and 80 seats) with fully digital formats, including DOLBI DIGITAL SURROUND sound equipment;
- additional activities for children, the presence of a children's room with slot machines;
- the presence of cafes and pizzerias, as well as parking;
- possibility of booking tickets and paying by credit cards;
- convenient location in the center and the ability to reach the main city routes.
Today, the city presented a new “Aurora”.Cinema (Krasnodar was not an exception in the development of cinemas of the new generation) with its modern technologies is perceived by many not only as an echo of childhood, but as a serious direction in improving the appearance of the city and its cultural facilities. In 2007, the planned construction of a shopping complex, but local authorities abandoned this idea. They could not deprive the local residents of such a structure, because before the eyes of the townspeople there was its maturation and development.
An important change was the opening of the summercinema in Chistyakovskaya grove. It is a spectator hall, built of wooden stages, and a large screen located in the fresh air. Of course, this is a new idea that has found wide application. Similar summer playgrounds are being created in other cities of our country.
In late autumn of 2014, the lastfilms of the season (“The Magic of the Moonlight”, “The Curse of Annabel”, “The Penguins of Madagascar”) before the cinema “Aurora” (Krasnodar) was closed for reconstruction. The opening date has not yet been reported, but its official website is still functioning. Locals are eagerly awaiting the resumption of their favorite cinema, while maintaining the hope that this will happen as soon as possible.
