How to assemble paper origami modules
Kusudama is made from rectangular leaves.Prepare squares measuring 10x10 centimeters. Cut them in half. Origami Kusudama butterfly is made of sixty modules, thirty yellow and blue. We collect the first part (yellow). Take a rectangle, bend up the bottom left corner, leave one millimeter from the edge. The upper right corner also bend. There should be a distance of about two millimeters between the triangles. Turn the workpiece over. Both edges bend inwards, that is, connect the lower acute angle with the upper blunt angle. Note that the sides must be parallel. Next, connect the upper acute angle with the lower blunt angle. Two triangles were obtained. At the right triangle the lower corner is bent upwards, and at the left one - top down. Billet billet in half. Unfold the shape. The first module is ready. Now add the second one (blue). Take a strip of paper. Fold in half along. Then, in the middle, bend the right side. To the line obtained earlier, fold the paper again. Turn the product over. Obtain the strips in half. As a result of the kinks, three wrinkles should be obtained. But the extreme strip is not divided in half. Do the same with the second half of the workpiece. The second module is ready. Build Kusudama
Connect the prepared modules as follows.Take the yellow part and place the blue in its middle. Fold the right corner of the first blank. So you fix the insert. The left corner also bend. The resulting billet bend diagonally. Apply glue to the blue part. Squeeze in half. Make another 29 of these modules. Next, take the two finished parts, connect as described below. Put the corners of the yellow module under the blue corrugation and fix with glue. Collect the details in the fives, and then combine them into a ball. If you use the dimensions of the rectangles that were given in the description, then the crafts will learn with a diameter of eleven centimeters.
