And someone, being a professional athlete, devotes all his time and energy to this. But regardless of whether it is a hobby or a lifestyle, if a person plays combat sport seriously, he knows how important it is to hone his skills again and again and have prepared shock surfaces.
Лучшим помощником для этого является макивара (special device for practicing strikes), which is in any gym. But what to do if it is temporarily not possible to go to the gym for some reason, but you need to train? To do this, you can and should do makivara yourself. How? You will find the answer to this question in this article - in it we will look at how makivara is done with your own hands.
For a start it is worth saying that in general there are 2 types of makivar: suspended and standing.
As a self-made portable great successenjoys hanging. Or rather, its version - makivara wall. This device can be hung on a wall in a room or on a tree or a pillar on the street.
What is necessary to get a good makivara, made with your own hands:
- Polyurethane (thickness from 5 to 10 mm). It can be replaced by the usual tourist foam (mat made of foam material). This is material for shock absorption.
- Leatherette or burlap for plating. It is better that the material was in stock.
- Elastic bands (width from 3 to 5 cm) or ropes for fastening (to a tree or pole).
- Velcro for attaching (to a tree or pole).
- 4-8 screws (fixing to the wall).
- Screwdriver.
Manufacturing process
Plates are cut from polyurethane (or rug)somewhere between 20-25 by 35-40 cm. Each section can be made from two to three plates. It depends on your level of preparation, and the thickness of the shock absorber.
Далее мы берём подготовленный для обшивки material and roll in two layers. Place it vertically and lay out the plate column. Top we put the same layer of skin and sew the front and back of it. You can also lay the seams between the plates.
Rubber bands (Velcro stitches are sewn to the edges) or ropes with which Makivara will be attached to the upper and lower edges. This option is great for attaching to a tree or pole.
If the wall is used as a support, then you simply fasten it with screws (if you wish, you can nail it with dowels) in the right place. So much for the makivara, created with your own hands!
Another production option portableMakivara is the following: go to the pet store and buy a cat claw. Then you buy two rubber bands in some household goods store with hooks at the ends (you can make them yourself) and connect the whole structure together. It turns out a good shell, which can be hung on a tree or pole.
There is another way! You can wrap a small board with hemp (you can put something under it for softness). Then figure out the appropriate mount, and Makivara made with their own hands.
And, finally, the easiest way - take an old thick book and fasten it to the wall, tearing off the cover.
A nice ready-made portable option.is a makivara Badiuk-Shilov. This is a portable version of the patented Makivara Shilov’s Kamerton, which many professionals and martial arts masters consider to be the best.
Usually it is called MBS, or simply makivaraBadiuk. It’s harder to do it with your own hands than the ones we looked at above. But the opportunity is there. You just need to learn the principle of its work and select the appropriate materials.
Still worth remembering that good andA quality makivara, collected at home, can replace the projectiles in the gym and allow you not to lose the precious time you can spend on training. Constant practice will make your punch technical, strong and penetrative.
