The first such consumer survey was conducted in 2011 by a company that imports vodka in the United States.

Third place belongs to Absolut vodka from Sweden. In fourth place is the Green Mark from Russia. The fifth and sixth place in the world ranking was taken by the brands from Ukraine - "Nemiroff" and "Khortytsya". Polish brand "Czysta de Luxe" took the seventh step of the rating. Three final lines of the list were divided between the brands from Russia and Belarus - "Five Lakes", "Crystal" and "Belenkaya".

Despite the ratings and contests held amongalcoholic beverages, tastes of consumers on different continents are radically opposed. Each country prefers its own alcoholic drink and yet the most popular are proven brands that have proven themselves over many years.
