Recipe: Wild Strawberry Jam (preparation)
For the preparation we will need the following ingredients:
- wild strawberry - 700 grams;
- sugar - 600 grams;
- water - 750 grams.
First you need to cook the syrup by mixing waterwith sugar, to the state of "soft ball". You can check it in the following way: put a little syrup into a glass of cold water. If in a few minutes you can roll a ball out of the cooled mixture with your fingers, the syrup is ready.
Enumerated and washed berries should be poured into a previously prepared syrup and carefully (to preserve the integrity of the berries) mix everything.
You need to make jam in one go, for 15minutes It can be removed when the foam stops forming on the surface of the mixture, and the jam will acquire a dark color and thickness. The easiest way to determine its readiness is to drop some syrup on a plate. The jam is ready if the drop does not spread. This is a very simple recipe, as you can see.
