Peas and beans are on the list the mostpopular with housewives products due to their high calorie content and useful qualities. What it is possible to prepare dishes from beans? Recipes are very diverse. It can be pea soup or stewed green beans. Often, beans are used as a filling for pies, casseroles. Of these, you get excellent nourishing stew and vegetable purees. But, unfortunately, both peas and beans require a long heat treatment, so any technology of cooking dishes from beans provides a preliminary soaking of grains in the water for a while. As a result of this trick, the product quickly acquires the desired softness when cooking. Try to cook the simplest dish of beans - stewed beans. The proposed recipes provide for the use of different technologies and products.
The first dish of beans: soup of stewed beans with meat
Necessary ingredients:
- 2 glasses of white beans;
- 1 onion;
- about 300 grams of beef or pork;
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of tomato paste or a few fresh tomatoes;
- salt, spices and herbs to taste.
Preparation
- Haricot beans and soak for 5-10 hours.
- Meat cut into medium pieces, pour cold water (3-4 liters) and bring to a boil, removing the foam. After reducing the heat, cook the broth for 30-50 minutes (depending on the hardness of the product).
- Drain the beans with water and pour it into the boiling soup.
- Onion cut into cubes and fry until weakgolden color. Milled tomatoes or tomato paste, slightly diluted with water (1: 5), pour into a frying pan, let the mass extinguish for 5-10 minutes. Then put the roast in boiling broth, salt to taste. If desired, you can add potatoes to the dish, slightly reducing the specified amount of beans.
- After 30-40 minutes of boiling, try the grains for softness. If necessary, continue cooking until the beans are ready.
- Season with spices and herbs.
The second dish of beans: bean stew
Necessary ingredients:
1 cup of white beans; - about 200 grams of smoked bacon or sausage;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 3-4 fresh tomatoes;
- 2 stalks of celery;
- 4-5 medium-sized potatoes;
- 1 Bulgarian pepper;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 2 tbsp. spoons of vegetable oil;
- 1 tbsp. a spoon of grated cheese of hard varieties;
- salt and seasonings to taste.
Preparation
- Beans fill with cold water and leave for at least 2 hours. Then rinse and cook again, filling the broth with 3-4 ml of liquid.
- Onions, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, celery cutcubes and fry in a deep frying pan. Do not mix all the vegetables at once. Observe this sequence of adding products to the total mass every 2-3 minutes of cooking - onions, carrots, peppers, celery, tomatoes. The resulting thick mixture is slightly salted and leave to extinguish until a full thickening.
- After 30 minutes of cooking the beans, pour the diced potatoes and bacon into a saucepan. After boiling, add the vegetable dressing to the stew.
- Cook the dish until the potatoes are ready. Season with seasonings and salt to your liking.
- Before turning off the fire, pour finely chopped garlic, stir and sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve the dish of beans hot.
