As a result, the gate church was built, into which the icon was placed. The name of the icon "Iberian Mother of God" received from its location. In the history of the monastery there are many manuscripts about the blessed assistance of the Mother of God. So, in the period of famine miraculously replenished stocks of wheat, oil and wine.
