Chainsaw is indispensable in cases whereit is required to perform work in places severely divorced from civilization. However, in the garden is also much more convenient to use a gasoline tool, rather than drag a dozen or two meters of the extension cable.
Basic concepts
On any modern saw, the carburetor has three special screws:
- L - for a low-speed jet.
- H - is intended for adjustment of a jet with high turns.
- T - the screw for "adjustment" of idling.
The location of each of them is specific for differentmanufacturers, so to clarify this issue should be, using the instruction manual. The easiest way to adjust the carburetor chainsaw "Friendship", as the instruction for its maintenance is easy to find.
What are screws for?
Completely the opposite is done.idle move. If the screw "T" is turned clockwise, the speed will increase. Once again, we remind you that each chainsaw whose carburetor adjustment we are considering has a unique arrangement of setting organs. So carefully watch the instruction manual!
Basic setting
Primary adjustment is carried out onmanufacturing plant. Note that this adjustment provides for a slightly more saturated fuel mixture. It needs to be saved in the first hours when the chainsaw is working. Adjusting the carburetor in the future involves more precise settings.
How to do it?
Note that first adjust the screw "L", then go to "H", and in the end go to the setting of "T".
Adjust the speed
First you will need to find the mosthigh idle speeds by turning the “L” valve clockwise or in the opposite direction. Once you have found the peak speed, turn the screw 1/4 counterclockwise. If the chain then continues to rotate, then you need to unscrew the screw "T" counterclockwise.
As soon as the engine runs fullturns for at least 10 seconds, you need to unscrew the "H" 1/4 of a turn, moving it counterclockwise. Let the tool run again for at least ten seconds. Be sure to check the maximum speed!
If their number does not match the passport data, adjustment should be repeated. In the case when you asked too poor a mixture, the engine will “scream”. If the “food” is too rich, then there will be greasy smoke from the muffler.
Thus, a modern chainsaw, the adjustment of which carburetor we considered, is a rather complicated tool.
