Rules of the light
Candle in the camp is carried out according to certain rules, the observance of which will ensure the solution of all tasks. These rules are as follows:
- the counselor must prepare the children for the upcoming candle;
- all participants are located on the same level and at the same distance from the candle or the object replacing it;
- you can not interrupt the speaker;
- discussion of a particular person is not allowed, only bad actions are allowed to be condemned;
- you can not eat and drink at the time of light;
- conversations should be calm, raised tones should be avoided;
- it is strictly forbidden to cross the center of the circle;
- all that has been said must remain between the parties to the candle;
- Candle collection should always be informal, without coercion;
- The theme of the event should be relevant to its participants.
These are only the basic laws of holding a candle in the camp. Each squad can follow its own traditions.

- The envelope of revelations. The facilitator prepares an envelope with unusual questions. Each participant of a candle pulls out a question and answers it.
- Stash with your favorite things. Each squad member tells not about himself, but about his favorite toy, talisman or object that characterizes him. You can demonstrate this thing on a twinkle.
- Гороскоп.All participants of the fire are divided into groups - signs of the zodiac. The counselor presents the characteristics of each of the presented signs and invites each group to compile its "portrait" of facts about each of its participants, confirming the veracity of the horoscope.
- A memorable day. Each child tells about the brightest day of his life.
Lights of the orgperiod may differ by lowactivity and tightness of children. The counselor should make every effort to make the atmosphere friendly and relaxed, encouraging children to frank and emotional conversation.
Lights of the main period
At the height of the shift, the main purpose of the lights is to analyze and evaluate the joint activities of the squad and each member.
Themes for the candles in the camp in the middle of the shift depend on the tasks that the leader sets for himself.
To smooth out conflicts in the process of holding a spark, the themes can be as follows:
- Letter to a friend. Participants write a "letter" to relatives or close people in which they share their experiences. Then all the guys read their messages.
- I want to understand. This light allows the possibility of unsystematic location of participants. Each child can approach another and ask a question starting with "I want to understand ....".
- Talking with a fellow traveler. Each participant of the fire tells the "fellow traveler" about the camp events.
- Circle of silence. All participants are located back to the center of the circle. Only the speaker unfolds. Gradually, all the guys speak, getting involved in the discussion of the problem issue.
Themed candles in the camp can be held during the shift, depending on the events and logic.
Examples of themed lights can be:
- light of friendship and love;
- a candle dedicated to the memorable date;
- song candle;
- light on environmental issues, etc.
You can complement the light with songs to the guitar, suitable in meaning to its theme.
Lights of the final period
The task of the lights of the final period is to summarize the results of the shift. Each child should analyze their own changes during their stay in the camp and see and evaluate changes in others.
The format of the lights may be as follows:
- Chain. The first participant speaks a few phrases that reflect his impression of the change, his neighbor continues the conversation and transmits the word along the chain further.
- The role of the squad. Each of the guys aloud reflects in turn on the question "What did the squad become for me for the shift?".
- Stories about each other. The guys take turns to express opinions and impressions of communication with one of the members of the squad. Thus, everyone gets a collective opinion about himself.
Each of the candles in the camp should be heldsincerely and be accompanied by joint actions, for example, to end with a detachment song or joint suppression of a candle. Each of the participants should feel like a full-fledged member of the team, whose opinion is valued and respected.
