How to make a ghost mask?
For those who do not have the available funds to purchase such a product, we give a step-by-step instruction on how to create it with our own hands.
Materials
For the manufacture of the mask we need:
- several packages of plasticine;
- plastic bottle of large size;
- white paper and newspapers;
- PVA (glue);
- piece of gauze - 30x30 cm;
- acrylic soil - white;
- paint;
- brushes.
Instructions
We determine the shape and design of the mask. You can think of yourself or take an idea from any source. Make a picture or print a picture.
We cut the top of the previously prepared five-liter bottle and impose a pattern on its wall. Using its display on the outside of the bottle, we make the basis of the future mask from plasticine.
We form a papier-mâché mask. Plasticine base can be removed or left on the bottle.
We tear the newspaper into narrow strips. Moisten gauze with water and put on plasticine base. Leveling. We moisten pieces of the newspaper and put it on gauze.
Sticking several layers of newspapers, 3-4 will be enough. Upper make of white paper, which we smear on top with glue. Dry for several days.
We try on the dried mask to the face and remove the excess. Pasting white paper edges. We dry.
Priming with acrylic. We dry. We color. Ghost mask is ready.
