State Enterprise "Plant number 410Civil Aviation ”carries out alterations, maintenance, diagnostics, overhaul of aviation equipment and aircraft engines. The main production facilities are located in Kiev. It is a strategically important production for the economic and military security of Ukraine.
Creating an enterprise
Завод № 410 гражданской авиации образован 1 июля 1948 on the squares of the Ukrainian Department of Civil Air Fleet, located at the airport Zhulyany. The organization’s responsibilities included the repair of M-116, ASh-62IR series engines and V-2 aircraft. Despite the problems with personnel and technological equipment, on October 21, 1948, with the efforts of 25 employees of the aircraft assembling, the first reconditioned engine AH-62IR No. 628-333 was repaired and solemnly transferred to the Ukrainian Department of Civil Air Fleet.

An important task was the improvement of the organization of production, the purchase of new equipment, appliances and installations that increase productivity. New technologies were developed and introduced, which made it possible to combine the process of repair of aircraft in a single whole. New divisions were created, necessary capital facilities were built.
Expansion of production

With the equipment of new equipment and the expansion of production areas, improvement of the material base since 1955, an IL-12 repair was organized. In 1959, a post-repair overflight of the first IL-14 was made.
The plant in the 60s began servicinggas turbine aircraft technology turboprop aircraft model An-24. From that moment on, he became the leading organization for the repair of Antonov’s aircraft. The team acquires a reputation as an exemplary repair enterprise for the aviation industry of Ukraine.

In 1976, factory workers mastered the repair of the An-26 transport cargo plane. 80s
Mastering the overhaul of the modular engine D-36 formodels Yak-42, An-72, An-74 contributed to the further development of the enterprise. Since 1986, the scheduled serial repair of motors began on the rented areas of the Motorostroitel HE in the city of Zaporozhye.
In 1988, the plant was given permission to startserial overhaul of the engine on its own premises in Kiev on Vozduhoflotsky Avenue. Soon, the D-36 became a priority product of the plant. In parallel, the repair of the AI-8 turbogenerator unit for heavy helicopters Mi-6 and Mi-10K was mastered.
Today's Day
From 2008 to 2016, the plant was headed by S. M. Podrez. Twenty-two years of experience in the enterprise and the talent of the leader allowed to maintain high standards of service of aviation equipment.
June 15, 2015, according to the order of the Cabinet of MinistersUkraine, the company became part of the state concern “Ukroboronprom”. Since June 16, 2016, V. V. Gankevich has been appointed Director General. The address of the plant: Ukraine, Kiev, Vozduhoflotsky Avenue, building 94.
Activities
After independence, the volume of aircraft repair has plummeted. The company remained afloat due to the expansion of the range of works. The plant began to perform:
- all types of maintenance of aircraft models of the series "Antonov";
- recovery and control work on the An-74, equipped with a power unit D-36;
- re-equipment of salons (cargo and passenger version and VIP-class);
- aircraft modernization (installation of modern radio navigation equipment).
На ГП «Завод № 410 гражданской авиации» внедрено New technological equipment that allows such complex processes as plasma and detonation spraying, laser processing, painting of aircraft with acrylic and polyurethane enamels. Cooperation with international aviation corporations seems promising.
New technologies
The plant has successfully used new equipment.in the process of repairing aircraft and aircraft engines. The laser complex is used for cutting structures of varying complexity from sheet materials: steel, plexiglas, plywood up to 5 mm thick.
Detonation installation is intended forrestoration of aircraft parts with increased wear by detonation pollination of powdered metallic materials on the prepared surface. Coating thickness - 0.002–0.8 mm. The dimensions of the restored parts: diameter - 0.7 m, length - 1.5 m.
Specialized installation is applied inthe technological process of manufacturing high-pressure hoses with metal braid and an inner diameter of 4–12 mm, used in hydraulic systems of various aircraft.
