Corporate Code

In the West, every employee in any company knowsand observes the basic rules that are accepted in the team. These rules strictly regulate the behavior of employees with customers and, among other things, with each other, allowing more effective negotiation, and most importantly, teaching how to interact in a team. They are called "corporate code" only. Looking at the European experience, in our country many large companies also began to develop and implement something similar. There is a tendency: the larger the company, the more extensive the code. However, if the organization develops and adopts a code, both managers and employees should understand the seriousness of this step. After all, such a document, if the rules prescribed in it are not respected, can greatly damage the reputation of the company.

The corporate code of the company pursuesseveral goals. Firstly, it is creating a positive impression of the company, and, consequently, increasing the level of trust in the products it produces, and increasing investment in the development of the organization. In this case, the text of the code, or rather, the main key points are customer-oriented and presented in the form of a booklet that is freely available to consumers and investors, for example, in the lobby of the company. Secondly, such a document avoids conflicts, and if a complex ethical situation arises, it helps to easily find a way out of it. Thirdly, the corporate code promotes team building, development of team feeling, collective identity. Fourthly, the code is designed to help beginners navigate in the environment and quickly join the team, because it is in it as convenient as possible to be combined and distributed by items basic information.

Usually such a document consists of two parts. The first part includes the company's history, bright events from its activities, projects, etc., a description of the mission, goals and values of the employees of the enterprise and the company as a whole. The second - specifically describes the standards of behavior in a given situation, here also include a schedule of employees that reflects working hours, the availability of holidays and holidays, the rules for granting leave, organization of the workplace and even the appearance of employees. And the appearance is not the last place. After all, what each employee looks like depends on the client's impression of the company as a whole. Therefore, very often firms develop a special corporate style, which absolutely everyone who works for the company must adhere to.

Many firms come up with a motto that knows andrespects each member of the team. A separate application can contain rules and instructions for employees, as well as various schemes. Thus, unity and cohesion are achieved. However, it is not enough to develop a corporate code and familiarize employees with it, it is also necessary to make it work. This can happen only if practically all employees take part in drawing up the document. They need to understand what kind of document it is and how it will help them in their work, and they must also be able to apply it in practice.

The main and unchanging condition is the codeThe corporate culture should be one for all - for both subordinates and managers. In this regard, a very important role is played by the personal example of company executives. So, if the director requires courtesy from his employees, then first of all he must adhere to the rules of polite tone. The corporate code assumes carrying out motivating actions, such as awards, premiums. And all of them also have documentary reflection. Today, the availability of this document in the company is seen as adherence to the standards of corporate conduct and ensures the exit of the organization or enterprise to the world market.
