Its pharmacological action is to block the cough center in the medulla. However, blocking does not entail dysfunction of respiration, therefore the agent is actively used even during simple operations. In addition, "Sinekod" has expectorant and anti-inflammatory effects, and also slightly expands the lumen of the bronchi.
What is Sinekod?

When and how to take "Sinekod"?

- from 6 to 12 years old, 1 tablet twice a day;
- from the age of 12 1 tablet three times a day;
- adult patients, 2 tablets, twice, and in severe cases, three times in one day.

Overdose is dangerous and manifests as diarrhea, nausea, and in some cases, vomiting, loss of balance, dizziness, and allergic reactions.
