Mainly due to the fact that even on huge demonstration screens of 80 inches and more than 33 million points simply do not allow to see any traces of the visible pixel structure of the image.
This means, essentially, that the viewer seems to be looking through a large window into a world that the retina perceives as real.
So why not sure that the time is 8Khas it come? First, to take advantage of such a high resolution, you will need a really big screen. Today's 4K is enough for any display up to 65 inches, maybe even 75 inches.
Secondly, video content in such a huge quality.almost impossible to get. Even four years after the appearance of 4K, the need to ensure sufficient bandwidth continues to cause a headache for telecoms due to the huge amount of data that is required to view UHD video. It is easy to imagine what awaits the video industry when it is faced with a truly huge amount of data associated with the use of 8K.
Ultra High Definition Olympics

Thanks to this, 8K resolution was achieved. At the moment, however, the device is not yet capable of broadcasting full 8K content, but only ultra-high-definition images. In addition, the increase in resolution works only when the audience is very close to the screen.
Pseudo 8K
In terms of specifications, 8K TVs haveLED backlight and anti-glare panel N-Black. Powered by Android, equipped with Netflix and compatible with HDR-technology video transmission with an extended range of brightness, which allows you to increase the contrast and transfer more shades of color and detail in dark areas.
Sales of the receiver are currently taking place in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, with the prospect of expansion to all Asian countries in the near future. The price of the device is 16,000 US dollars.
In September last year, the 85-inchSharp 8K TV LV-85001. The LCD display consists of 7680 x 4320 pixels, and the price of the device was 133 thousand US dollars. This means that it can only be purchased by the rich and famous, plus large enterprises, at least at first.
TV Super Hi Vision 8K LV-85001 uses technology of indium oxide, gallium and zinc (IGZO), which allows to radiate at a low power consumption in a wide range of wavelengths.
98 inch from LG
Along with the 18-inch collapsible display andLG presented a 98-inch 8K-TV with a resolution of 7680 4320 UH9800, which boasts a new interface Super MHL, first demonstrated by Samsung in its own prototype 8K-TV at CES 2015. In addition, Sharp also previously presented prototype ultra-high-definition displays at CES in 2012 and 2014.

The price of LG's 8K TVs is still unknown, but the company promises to start selling it by the end of 2016 and, most likely, by special order.
Perhaps LG risks putting on 8K.But it should be borne in mind that doubts about the company's ability to support OLED technology were dispelled after the success of the latest generation of OLED TVs, also presented at CES 2016.
8K from Samsung
