The origins of the Small and Big Inzer shareThe highest mountain ranges of the Southern Urals: the Kumardak ranges, Mashak and its main peak - Mount Yamantau. To meet each other, each of the rivers passes a rather tortuous and difficult path. Bolshoy Inzer originates on the southeastern slopes of the Kumardak range and flows to the southwest through the deserted wastelands of the South Ural Reserve. Small Inzer descends from the eastern slope of the Nara massif, and then briskly runs in the same direction, but on the other side of the giant Yamantau. Having passed an uneasy route a couple of hundred kilometers away, both rivers merge into one beautiful turbulent stream that all of Bashkiria is so proud of - Inzer.

The Bolshoi Inzer River is not full-flowing, therefore it is possible to swim only with a sufficiently high level of water. Rafting on Inzer is better to start from the railwaythe Kurmanai station before the Sarysht re-roll (length of 40 km). It can be said the wildest part of the journey. The Bolshoi Inzer valley is rather narrow, and the current is surprisingly fast. There are many pitfalls and surface boulders. In addition, steep cliffs block off the path from time to time. At such sites, it seems that the kayak is about to crash ... However, 20-25 meters from the rocks, the current of the river makes a significant turn, which sometimes reaches 180º. Further the vessel rushes further, hardly touching on the turn of granite rocks. Sometimes the mountains move away from the water for a couple of tens of kilometers, and magnificent views open up to the gaze. There are also endless meadows with high (up to 2 meters!) Grass. There is simply no one to mow it: there are simply no populated areas in this region.
Second phase
Further, an exciting water trip can continuethrough the village Zapan. After about 25 km there will be a village Suran. 5 km from the Sarysht rolling stock there is an uninhabited Seregin farm, where the gauging post is located. After the hamlet, the Inzer Valley narrows even more. From the north, Mount Karatash rises close to the river, and from the south - the summit of Yurmatau. The longest roll of the Sarysht is about 6 km long.

At the same time, it is worth noting that in summer this section usually grows shallower and becomes almost impassable.
