Borovitskaya Square - the youngest area of ​​the centercity ​​of Moscow. Its age is about 80 years. Geographically refers to the areas Khamovniki and Tverskoy. A bit of history

The last houses that were destroyed were residential buildings in the east in 1979. And it was from that time that the area acquired the current borders.

These are Sparrow Hills and Borovitskaya Square. Through long disputes and persuasions, it was decided to choose a place near the Kremlin.

The height of the monument will be about 24 m withoutpedestal. In order to understand the scale of the structure, you can compare it with the wall at the gate. Its height is about 17 m. The installation of such an impressive structure causes a lot of controversy. Many believe that the monument will not fit into the general architecture of the Kremlin and will eclipse with its grandeur many other buildings that are located in this area. But no matter how long the disputes continue, the first stone was laid in the fall of 2015, and the builders set about installing a new monument of architecture.
