The appearance of the road to Vyborg occurred beforefounding of Petersburg. She took her start on the Birch Island. Further its path lay through the Bolshaya Nevka. It took place in the area of the present Grenadier Bridge, and then the road ran along the mainland towards the north. Vyborg highway received its first name in 1742. Then it sounded like the Vyborg road (or the Big Vyborg road). Its beginning was considered Sampsonievsky Cathedral. From about the middle of the 18th century, it was also called Pargolovskaya. It was connected with the most famous settlement at that time, through which this road was laid.
A year later, the boundary of the city was determined bythe northern edge of the site belonging to the Forest Institute (currently Novosiltsevsky lane passes here). This led to the fact that the location of the border separating the Vyborg highway and Sampsonievsky Avenue has changed. In 1917, the city expanded quite a bit, its border moved significantly to Poklonnaya Hill. Part of the Vyborg highway fell into the city. This site has been renamed Engels Prospect. Due to the fact that this avenue was extended to the north a little later, another section was separated from the Vyborg highway, starting from Poklonnogorskaya street and ending on Siqueiros street, and added to Engels avenue.
The modern Vyborg highway representshigh-speed highway, the beginning of which comes from Prospect Engels, namely from the street Siqueiros. Then it passes through Ozerki, Shuvalovo, Pogorelovo and Aspen Grove. Outside the city, the Vyborg highway passes through Simagino and up to the concrete road with the mark of A120, which connects Priozerskoye and Primorskoye highways. This section is distinguished by the fact that there is no such heavy traffic here as on other sections, due to the fact that the main traffic flow to Vyborg is located on the Scandinavian highway. The highway outside the city is often called the Eastern Vyborg highway.
Particularly popular siteVyborg Highway 27. Here, a residential complex has been commissioned from SK Stroykomplekt, offering contemporary housing to contemporaries. Brick new buildings rise in a well-developed area, which has a developed infrastructure. In close proximity to the object are the largest supermarkets. Nearby is the resort area. Apartments have views of the Shuvalovsky forest park or the picturesque lakes of Suzdal.
