History

Poklongaray

The structure is an ensemble of three towers built in the 13th century by representatives of the Cham people. Poklongaray got its name in honor of one of their Cham rulers, who, according to legends, did a lot for his people, including organized the construction of a progressive irrigation system for those times.

This building is much younger than others and wasbuilt only in the 17th century. According to researchers, during this period there was a decline in the arts, therefore Porome is less picturesque and has a more modest decor than the rest of the Cham towers. In general, tourists interested in architecture are advised to explore all such structures located in the vicinity of Fanrang, in order to present the evolution of this art form in Vietnam over 6 centuries.

15 km from Fanranga is a craft village.Its inhabitants are no longer one century known for the manufacture of ceramic tableware. It is believed that this village is the oldest center for the production of such products in Southeast Asia. Ny Chua National Park
