The abstract is the simplest form of a student's written work. In this case, there is no need for a large volume, in-depth analysis.
The student has the right to chooseliked the topic from the list and agree it with your teacher. Next, you need to study the problem by reading the materials on the topic. Based on the analysis of the selected literature, it is logical to state the essence of the problem in this abstract. It is generally accepted that educational institutionsdrawing up the requirements for the preparation of abstracts adhere to the rules of the state standard on scientific research. Since this GOST refers to the scientific sector and does not cover the humanitarian profile, the student must follow the recommendations set forth in the methodology for the discipline under study in carrying out the work.
The abstract should have a standard structure:
- first page - title page;
- second page - content;
- third page - introduction (1-2 pages);
- the main part consisting of several sections (12-15 pages);
- conclusion (1-3 pages);
- Bibliography.
Contents - a list of all sections of the work, compiled in strict sequence, indicating the pages. Numbering is assigned to each page, on the title page - it is not put.
In the introduction it is necessary to state the purpose and tasks of this work, the rationale why you chose this particular topic.
The number of sections in the main part depends on the requirements in the methodology, and at the same time should be sufficient for a full presentation of the material of the selected topic.
An important part of the work is the conclusion!In it, the student draws conclusions, gives his suggestions on the topic of the essay. The conclusion should be logically constructed, clear and in essence: from one to three pages.
The work is printed on A4 sheetsin black ink. Recommended font Times New Roman (usually 14th size) and a one and a half interval between the lines. The alignment of the common text in width and the indent from the beginning of the paragraph is assumed to be 1.25 cm.
Titles are always highlighted in bold, and at the end the point is not put. In the work, if necessary, you can use drawings, formulas and tables, not forgetting their numbering.
The list of used literature is compiled according to the generally accepted bibliographic description of the document.
