Major League Debut
In 1994, Alexander Gorbachev made his debut in the Higher League. The football player did not immediately get a place in the starting lineup, but in the course of the season I got accustomed and began to regularly get into the application.
For the team from Naberezhnye Chelny, that year becameone of the most successful in history. The team powerfully played in his field, losing only once (Moscow “Spartak” - 1: 3). However, a weak game at a party did not allow the team to get into the zone of European competition. KAMAZ took the sixth place, before the UEFA Cup voucher was not enough two points.

Return to the big leagues
After Baltika failed with the firstattempts to return to the Higher League, Gorbachev left the club, signing a contract with Voronezh "Torch". The team spent the entire season at the bottom of the standings, but secured themselves from the struggle for survival, eventually finishing the 13th of 16 teams.
Gorbachev did not play long after that in Elista's Uralan and Krasnoyarsk Metallurg. And in 2002 he returned to the "Baltic". Here he spent four more seasons, until the very end of his career.
In 2002, Gorbachev became the champion of the Second League,taking first place in the zone "West". Kaliningraders won 35 matches out of 38, not having suffered a single defeat. The closest pursuer, Tula Arsenal, was 31 points behind. In total, the team had 108 points in the championship. With a goal difference of 109-20.

In the national team

At the end of the season, Baltika took 17th place,being among the five teams that had to leave the championship of the National Football League.
