Description
A distinctive feature of an AWP rifle from otherssniper models lies in the unusual design of her lodge. As a basis for it, the British developers used an aluminum beam, to which the barrel, receiver and trigger were attached. The bed itself consists of two plastic halves attached on both sides to an aluminum beam. It is also called the "chassis." Thus, a rigid frame made of aluminum alloy is a place for attaching all parts of the rifle. The design is characterized by increased rigidity, which positively affected the accuracy of the battle. In addition, the owner of this model of weapon does not have any difficulties during the maintenance of the rifle.
All its parts are very carefully fitted thantheir wear or loosening is excluded. When installing the receiver as an adhesive, epoxy resin is used. First, the master box is put on the glue, and then screwed to the frame. A special epoxy coating of black, green or camouflage shades is applied on the surface of the receiver boxes and the trunks themselves. Some rifles are painted olive.
AWP is a magazine rifle equippedlongitudinal slide gate. It is used to lock the weapon. The rotary shutter angle in AWP, as in other modern models of similar design, is reduced to 60 degrees. The front part of the rifle contains three lugs for the bolt. The function of the fourth is performed by its turning handle. It is equipped with a massive spherical knob, due to which it is quite easy to manage it. The stroke of the bolt does not exceed 10 cm, the striker to the cap is 6 mm. Thanks to this, it takes a little time to trigger the rifle mechanism.
Weapons equipped with specialanti-icing design: longitudinal grooves are provided for the valve, allowing it to work reliably at very low temperatures. The pull force is no more than 2 kg. The arrows appreciate the high operability of the trigger mechanism: it functions well even in a state of heavy pollution. Locking the bolt and locking the trigger and drummer are carried out with a safety lock. When operating this sniper rifle, random shots are excluded.
Butt device

Sniper rifle is available for the ammunition of a NATO sample of 7.62 mm caliber. They are contained in steel removable box-type stores. The capacity of the store is five ammunition.
