And how can one not think: how many people live in megacities? The largest cities in Russia are Moscow and St. Petersburg. The population of these cities has long exceeded a few million. Let us consider in more detail how many people live in the two Russian capitals, and how they inhabit certain regions.
The population of Moscow: characteristics
As in any metropolis, huge flows of people always flow into the capital. Today, Moscow retains the primacy in terms of the number of inhabitants, not only in Russia, but also throughout Europe.
