After a while, as soon as the wound has healed, a "tunnel" is inserted larger, with an opening of approximately 2-3 mm. And so, gradually stretching the ear lobe, you insert rings of a larger diameter. This manipulation can take from a few weeks to several months, it all depends on the ultimate goal. If there is a desire to have a "tunnel" in the ear more than two centimeters in diameter, then an incision is made in the lobe or a small hole is cut out (all this is done under anesthesia).
