Некоторые разработчики компьютерных игр очень love to profit additionally on the fruits of their own labor. It would seem that if you succeeded in the project - why not invest in it all efforts, develop it, make it more impressive and attractive. Other creators of games do so. But some, apparently, come to the industry not at all in order to bring something new into it and to please users with masterpiece releases. However trite, they are in this business for the sake of money. Unfortunately, because of this ordinary gamers suffer, who give considerable sums to see a new part of the favorite game, and eventually get the same project wrapped in a brighter package. It happened in the case of Crysis 3 - the final episode of the trilogy is not much different from the previous one, although the developers promised very much. Naturally, the system requirements for Crises 3 are not particularly increased, which will be discussed next.
operating system
The fact that the last two games of the series are not particularlystrongly differ from each other, first of all confirmed the requirements that the developers put forward to the users' computers. In the case of Crises 3, the system requirements were not the most impressive, but to throw dust in the eyes, the developers went to a cunning move - to the standard minimum and recommended requirements, they added the maximum, which set the highest bar for your computer. Naturally, this did not affect the operating system - you will in any case have to have Windows Vista, 7 or 8, if you want to run this project. Owners of XP, like in many other cases with modern games, remain out of work. However, what influenced this innovation in Crises 3? The system requirements for the processor, RAM, and video cards will demonstrate this most clearly.
CPU
In the game Crises 3 system requirements couldsurprise five years ago, but now they do not frighten anyone. Especially when it comes to the processor, because developers only require you to have two cores, both in the case of minimum and recommended requirements. The only difference is the maximum requirements for the processor, because in this case you need to have at least four cores.
However, if you look at the games thatwent out in parallel with the third part of the series, you can see that the requirements are not too high. And if you recall the output of the first part, which made so much noise? After all, then the visual component of the game was really amazing and inimitable. Now this is only a repetition of what has been done. Naturally, for Crisis 3, the system requirements of the PC-version are artificially overstated, but on the consoles it is very noticeable that the developers were not in a hurry to progress.
RAM
RAM is the only indicator, which can impress the rest in Crisis 3. The minimum system requirements in this case are 2 GB of RAM, which is approximately at the average level, but the recommended requirements already increase to 4 GB, and the maximum, respectively, to eight. However, until now it is not confirmed that these eight "gigs" are really needed in order to run the game at the maximum settings.
Video card
In the case of Crisis 3 system requirementsultra-mode even more cause suspicion, if you look at what kind of video card they need. Given the impressive graphic scale of the second part, many gamers were waiting for something incredible. But as a result, one look at the requirements makes it clear that you will not see anything supernatural. Minimum and recommended requirements are at the same mark in 1 GB of video memory, and the maximum requirements are raised to 2 GB. And this despite the fact that the game is declared as a visual masterpiece.
But modern games, even without such boldclaims require already 3-4 GB of video memory. And it's not just in numbers - in fact, the game also does not look much better than the previous episode. Unfortunately, gamers pay more for the addon to Crysis 2, and not for the full-fledged project, and this addon is much more expensive than the second part of the game itself.
release date
The game looks quite fresh just becauseit was published relatively recently. The initial release on all platforms was released in the United States of America, and it happened on February 19, 2013. Almost immediately, other releases followed, first in the Russian market on February 21, and then the next day in the European Union. As a result, the whole process took only four days, the game sold out in a huge circulation, but positive feedback was much less than negative. Naturally, the game itself looks fine, and if it was an independent project, it would definitely receive better reviews. But this, unfortunately, is the continuation of a successful project that stands still, while developers are squeezing huge amounts out of their success. Incidentally, by the way, they are not earned.
