Basic contours
The first thing to do is to arrange the sheet vertically and approximately horizontal to draw a horizontal line. She will share the sky and water. Then draw a line of coast with a small curvature withany side of the sheet, at your discretion. It should start near the horizon and move down to the opposite corner of the sheet. On the coast, closer to the line of the middle, you can apply contours of rocks or rocks. Beyond the horizon at the edge of the sheet, draw a pair of small hills that are mountains far away. Shade the surface of the sea near boulders, this visually enlivens the waves. Lightly rub the eraser with rough features to soften the contour from the pencil. The surface of the sea can also be smoothed by rubbing a finger or a piece of paper. These manipulations help to understand how to draw a beach and the sea so that they look more realistic. The same actions repeat with the coast - shade the surface and lightly moulder, creating the appearance of sand on the beach. Superfluous dark areas in the picture can be removed with an eraser. Stones and mountains should be the darkest areas, so shade them with a stronger pressure on the pencil and increased frequency of movements. On the clouds, draw a weak shading sufficient to visualize the movement of air. On additional details in the picture, apply strokes along the contour, creating a shadow and depth of the object.
Colorful picture
We covered how to draw a beach and the sea withusing a pencil. Then we use gouache. In this case, the work is done without a pencil, but we will take the main contours of the last drawing as a basis. We designate the horizon on paper and divide the heavenly space into three parts. The top will be blue, then pink and then yellow. Wet, washed with a brush, we blur a rough transition from one color to another. On the bottom half of the sheet, we create three color lines again, starting from the horizon - blue, sand, orange, creating the sea, the coastal zone and the beach itself. Again, we blur the transitions, without touching the middle line. White gouache we designate clouds and paint over the top with pink, the bottom is dark blue. Remembering our drawing with a pencil, draw the rocks, taking a brown gouache. Draw the relief, shadows and blur them along the top edge. We emphasize the orange gouache line of the beach area and white color designate the contours of the sea waves. Thin strokes ask the waves direction. Foam along the edges of waves and crests are applied with white gouache. With strokes of blue color we emphasize the shadows.
