Italian group "Savage"

In November 1956 in the Italian town of MassaRoberto Zanetti was born. From childhood, music was something of a hobby for him, but from the age of 14 he began to learn to play the piano and realized that it was music that could become his future business. While still in high school, he played with different musical groups. It became so important to him that Roberto decided to take his first steps as a musician.

He created the group "Taxi", in which the guitarplayed his friend Fornaciari Zucchero. It was during this period that Roberto began writing his songs. At the beginning it was a melodic style, then a dance rhythm appeared. In 1983, the band released their first single, called "To Maiami". It was he who became the impetus for a new successful song that was written for Joey Moon. Then Roberto is contacted by two DJs, with whom he produces for the gang single "Incantation". This record became famous in Italy and served as the beginning of cooperation with the famous company Discomagic.

In the fall of 1983, Roberto creates a compositionwhich is becoming a real breakthrough in his career. The single "Don" t Cry Tonight "is performed by the group Savage. It was Zanetti's first huge success. At the same time he takes the pseudonym Robyx, under which he acts as a producer. For the next two years, the group Savage is a major project for him.

At this time, the album "Tonight" is recorded,such popular songs as "Only You", "Radio", "Goodbye", "A Love Again" are coming out. Roberto concentrates on tours in Europe. In the eastern part of it, he is not just gaining popularity, the Savage group is having a huge success there! The songs are performed by the soloist with an unusual timbre of voice, and this helps the band stand out among other Italian artists.

From 1984 to 1986, the Savage group constantlygoes on tour. During this time, throughout Europe, she gives more than 300 concerts. Performances are held in Germany and France, Spain and Switzerland, Austria and Greece, Sweden, Portugal and, of course, in Italy. The group "Savage" becomes the most sought-after, it gets thousands of fans, as the romanticism and melody of the songs touched the hearts and souls of people.

There have been cases when during speeches peoplejust cried, and the girls attacked Roberto with hugs. In 1984, the album "Tonight", he becomes the first for "Savage." The group includes songs that later become super hits.

In 1986, Roberto creates his studiosound recordings and begins a producer career. As a keyboard player, he quickly masters digital equipment and computers, with which you can get a new sound. He decides to do a cover version of the song "The Party" in Italian, but with a lyrical accent. Thus the single "Not toccarmi il culo dai" appeared. A few months later he successfully released about 10 songs of this genre. In 1988, Zanetti creates a new project - "Ice MC". There are compositions such as "Cinema" and "Scream", which become unconditional hits. A new group is gaining popularity all over the world. Within a few years, Roberto becomes one of the most famous producers. He sells about 6 million singles and 2 million copies of his new projects. He gives a successful start to such groups as "Double You", "Pianonegro", "Alexia", "Corona". In addition, he writes several instrumental compositions that go in the style of dream house and space dance. And in 2004 and 2006, Roberto performs in front of the Russian audience as part of the Savage group; this happens within the framework of the popular festival “Disco of the 80s”.
