Pskov Drama Theater. A.S. Pushkin
This is the oldest theater in the city.It received its name in honor of the famous Russian poet, because the building of the theater was laid in the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth - in 1899. It was completed by 1906, and since then for more than a century the institution has been pleasing the inhabitants of Pskov.

Some time was spent preparing the play, and in 2003 a solemn premiere took place. Today the play is staged not only by the Pskov institution, but also by other theaters in the country.
Green Theater
Pskov theaters are not limited to traditional ones.So, the most interesting in this regard is the Green Theater (Pskov), which is located directly under the open sky. This is an amazing structure that resembles ancient Roman amphitheaters, but instead of the steps there are green hills on which are wooden benches painted in a pleasant light brown color.
