How to make a mask of plain paper?
To make an inexpensive mask, buy a colorpaper for children's creativity, glue, markers and two ropes. You will need paper or cardboard in four colors - orange, light orange, red and black. First, cut out from the black paper the silhouette of the muzzle of the fox. Then from the orange sheet, cut one more silhouette smaller than the previous one by about one centimeter. Then, from the light orange paper, cut out the silhouette of the nose and eyes. Also make two small triangles for the ears. From black cardboard, make a small triangular nose and mustache. Cut out beautiful thick eyebrows from red leaves. Glue all parts together. On the sides of the mask fox tie ropes. The mask is ready!
What will it take to create a fox mask?
You will need the following materials:Hard felt with a thickness of two or three millimeters (orange, black and white), thread, needle and elastic. First, draw a fox muzzle pattern on the paper. Cut it out and attach it to the felt in orange. Circle the pattern with chalk and cut out the muzzle of the fox already from felt. In the same way, make of felt a white cheek, a nose and white triangles, which you will sew to the ears. Sew the cheeks, nose and white triangles to the muzzle. The chanterelle is almost ready! If it seems to you that the mask was not sufficiently rigid, then you can sew another layer of felt or cardboard to the wrong side. In this case, your product will not crumble much. Also, you can decorate your mask of a fox, embroidering on it a black mustache and eyebrows. In addition, it can be decorated with artificial or natural fur.

Unbelievably beautiful are masks of foxesfur. To create such a product, you must first cut out the base in the form of a muzzle of thick and strong cardboard. The muzzle can be made volumetric if to cut out additional parts and to glue them. It is better to join pieces of cardboard not just with scotch, but with pieces of paper soaked in PVA glue. After the base is ready, immediately attach to it the ropes for attachment to the head. Then take fur of red, white and black color. Stick it as shown in the photo. Note that the direction of the fur fibers should go from the nose to the ears.
What else can you do with a fox mask?
You can make it not only from cardboard, furor felt. If you want a fox mask on your head to be strong and durable, then it can be molded from polymer clay. But know that this material will need to be baked in the oven to make it hard. You can try to make a mask and from self-healing clay, but then it will, most likely, be too fragile.
Also, mask foxes are well obtained in technologypapier mache. To do this, you will need to buy some artistic or child's plasticine and dazzle it with a muzzle model. Then take the newspaper and tear it into small pieces. Wet these scraps in a glue of PVA and cover the muzzle of a fox from plasticine. Make thus three to ten layers. Remember, a large number of layers will make your fox mask more durable and durable.
After all the layers have dried, remove from the maskplasticine. Now the product can be painted! Acrylic colors are best for this purpose. After the paint has completely dried, cover the mask with a varnish. Do on the sides of the product with a stitch hole and thread the ropes in them. The mask is ready!
